Choosing a lithium-ion battery pack manufacturer is a project decision, not just a comparison of voltage and capacity. OEM buyers need to review the proposed battery configuration, equipment integration, sample acceptance and supply documentation together. Use this checklist to prepare a focused discussion with Surlon Power about an existing pack or a custom design.
Identify the equipment model and approved input voltage range. Define continuous current, peak-current duration, target runtime and the charging arrangement. Include a dimensioned installation drawing, mounting points, connector type, pin assignments and cable routing. Describe the operating environment and any required communication with the equipment.
Compare NCM and LiFePO4 options against these requirements. A chemistry name, familiar enclosure or shared voltage label does not establish compatibility with the complete system.
The listed 25.6V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery pack is one starting point for model review. It does not represent the specifications of every pack supplied for an OEM project.
Request the exact model and revision's specification, dimensions, connectors, charger requirements and BMS functions. Review continuous ratings separately from short-duration limits and protection settings, including the relevant test conditions. Resolve conflicting or incomplete figures before accepting a configuration.
Define the tests your team needs before placing a larger order. Evaluate the sample with the intended equipment and charger, recording fit, load behavior, runtime and use conditions. Document the approved configuration and any differences that must be addressed before production.
Ask how sample approval, specification revisions and proposed component changes will be recorded. An approved sample should be traceable to the configuration being quoted for subsequent orders.
Ask which inspection records, batch identification, handling instructions and model-specific test or transport documents are available. If a company management-system credential is relevant to your sourcing process, request the current document and check its named organization, scope and validity.
Product and destination requirements vary. A company credential or report for a different battery does not establish approval for your selected pack or finished equipment. Identify the evidence your technical and procurement teams require for the exact project.
Include sample quantity, expected production demand, delivery destination, packaging and labeling needs. Confirm minimum-order requirements, availability, lead time and the agreed specification in a current quotation. Discuss how design changes, replacement requirements and after-sales questions will be handled; do not assume these terms from a general product description.
For a lighting project, include the driver input-voltage range, load profile, required operating time, available battery space, connector pinout and charging arrangement. State whether the light is used continuously, intermittently or for emergency operation. Ask for charge and discharge temperature limits separately, and agree on sample tests with the intended driver and charger.
Use the lighting battery pack collection to identify a reference model, not as proof that a pack fits every luminaire. For emergency lighting, identify the complete luminaire's destination-market requirements with your engineering team; a battery specification alone does not establish finished-product compliance.
Provide the scrubber model, battery-bay drawing, mounting and connector details, charger specification, controller voltage limits and current profile for the traction, brush and suction loads, including any simultaneous operation. Describe water exposure and the intended cleaning routine. Have the equipment team review charging, protection and any communication requirements before selecting a sample; the same nominal voltage does not establish drop-in compatibility.
Review the floor scrubber battery retrofit checklist alongside the proposed model's specification. Document the agreed sample configuration and acceptance conditions before approving production. If a requirement is unknown, mark it for engineering review rather than assuming a value from another pack.
